Digital machine transfer declaration & warranty claims at GRIMME

As soon as GRIMME has sold and dispatched the machine, the following task will automatically appear for you:

You set the transfer date and enter the end customer’s details.
This information forms the basis for all subsequent steps.

Once you have added the customer:

• the end customer will automatically receive an email regarding the scheduled machine transfer,
• and any transfer details – if already available – will appear in their myGRIMME account.

The customer can also enter contact details for the transfer declaration here, e.g. a local contact person.

The service technician will automatically see the machine in their service app as soon as the appointment is confirmed.
There, they can:

• fill in any missing details
• document the condition of the machine
• prepare for the handover

They can also immediately see whether the end customer already has a myGRIMME account.

• Account already exists: The machine will be automatically assigned later.
• No account exists: The service technician can create a new myGRIMME account directly on site.
  The customer will then receive an invitation by email to activate their account.

Vor Ort unterschreiben sowohl Du bzw. der Servicetechniker als auch der Endkunde die digitale Übergabeerklärung.
Der Endkunde akzeptiert zudem die geltenden Bedingungen.

Alle Daten werden automatisch digital hinterlegt.

Once the document has been successfully signed, the machine status in GRIMME Connect changes to:
➡️ “Active transfer declaration”

Only now:

• does the warranty period begin
• can warranty claims be submitted

Once the process is complete, the machine is automatically linked to the end customer’s myGRIMME account.
The customer can view it immediately and use all its features.

The digital warranty claim form now features a completely redesigned, modern layout.
The new interface is more clearly structured, more intuitive to use and offers a significantly improved presentation of information.

Another key advantage:
All tables in the form can now be customised.
You can:

• Show and hide columns
• Set and save sort orders
• Flexibly configure filters

This allows you to tailor the view perfectly to your workflow.

The scope of tasks has been significantly expanded and made more transparent.
In the new Connect, you can still find all your own pending tasks in the "Pending Tasks" section and cases that GRIMME is currently processing under "In Progress". 

• You can now also see all tasks currently being handled by GRIMME. This allows you to see at any time where your application is in the processing workflow.
• All filtered lists and tables can now be exported directly as Excel files – ideal for analysis, documentation and internal processes.

This gives you a better overview, improved traceability and additional options for further processing your data.

The multi-step application process guides you step by step through all the relevant details – clearly structured and easy to follow. The dynamic help feature displays context-sensitive tips exactly where you need them.

Change from the old Connect:
Right at the start, you now select the application type. This means that Connect only displays the relevant fields as you proceed – fewer clicks, fewer errors, and a faster route to a completed application.

You can save the application at any time and continue at a later date. Ideal if information first needs to be clarified internally or documents need to be submitted later.
